Anne is known for her ability to weave together her inspiring findings from real-life success stories with state-of-the art information about health issues. Her motivational speaking appearances have taken place at many consumer events, including women's conferences and expos, health fairs, and national recovery group meetings. Not long ago, she drew an audience of more than 1,000 when she spoke at the convention center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Anne has also been an invited speaker to address both student and professional audiences at Harvard, Cornell, Rutgers, the University of Wisconsin, and the University of Pennsylvania.
Anne has given major presentations for national meetings of the following organizations: the American Dietetic Association, American Society of Bariatric Physicians, International Diabetes Center, Congress on Women's Health, International Association of Culinary Professionals, Society for Nutrition Education, National Fisheries Institute, SMART Recovery, Women for Sobriety, and the Kellogg Nutrition Symposium in Canada. Recently, Anne presented her findings from her latest book, Weight Loss Confidential, at the national meeting of the American Dietetic Association to an audience of more than 1,000.
